The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued reports on the effects of climate change on each of the 50 U.S. states. In our region, most of New Jersey and New York has warmed by about three degrees (Fahrenheit) during the last century, with heavy rainstorms occurring more frequently and sea levels rising about an inch each decade.
